You can relax and be certain that there are no hidden fees. The rate on each car already carries the third-party insurance and the tax. Everything else that could ever appear on your contract is on this page.

Airport delivery
FreePick-up and drop-off at Curaçao International Airport, at no charge. After you reserve we send you an instruction document telling you exactly where to meet our rep.
Shortest rental
4 daysThere is no maximum. Rent for as long as you like.
Minimum age
21Under 21, paying online — including the Collision Damage Waiver — is required, and a deposit may be needed for the rental to be approved.
Additional driver
$5.00Per person, per day. You may add as many drivers as the car has seats. Each one must be 21 or over and bring their licence on arrival.
Child seats
FreeChildren from 0 to 5 must travel in a child seat in Curaçao. Tell us your child's age and we will fit the right one — infant seat up to 12 months, child seat from 1 to 5 — at no charge.
Fuel
Same level backThe car comes with a set fuel level and should come back with the same. If it is short, we charge $5 per litre for the difference.
Cleaning
$150Only if the car comes back with wet seats, a lot of beach sand, or signs of smoking. Tell our rep at delivery if you expect a problem and we will sort it out.
Late return
One extra dayReturning later than agreed adds a day's rental, which varies by car and by the length of the hire. Returning outside the location's opening hours is not allowed unless we have agreed it.
Collision Damage Waiver
Liability insurance is included with all cars. A Collision Damage Waiver goes further and waives the cost of damage to the rental car itself if it is in a collision. Your bank may already cover this with certain credit cards, so it is worth asking them before you travel. We offer three levels:

Premium Protection
$19 /day
Your financial responsibility for the rental car is reduced to $0.

$10 /day
Your financial responsibility is $400 per coverage.

Standard Protection
$6 /day
Your financial responsibility is $850 per coverage.
If you are in an accident or a collision, call Forensys straight away on 199 or +5999 747-1333. This matters: if the incident is not reported to Forensys, the Collision Damage Waiver is invalid and the damage is not covered.
If your plans change
If your reservation has not been paid for yet there is no cancellation fee at all. If you have already paid, the fee depends on how close to the pick-up time you cancel: $50 more than 72 hours before, $75 within 72 hours, and $100 within 24 hours. If you neither cancel nor collect the car, the prepaid amount is forfeited.
To confirm your cancellation fee, or to change your dates, call us on +5999 690-5050 or email info@dushirentalscuracao.com. Rates change from day to day, so changing the dates or the number of days can change the daily rate.

Are your cars automatic or manual? Do they have air conditioning?
All our vehicles have automatic transmissions, full air conditioning and a Bluetooth connection system.
Are there any additional fees?
No hidden ones. The prices include third-party insurance, and the 9% tax is charged at checkout — so it is already in the final price.
Can you deliver the car to Curaçao Airport?
Yes, and it is free. We offer free drop-off and pick-up at Curaçao Airport, included in the price. When you make the reservation you receive an instruction document from us telling you where to meet our rep, who will have your car ready at the airport or at whichever location you asked for.
Can I collect the car somewhere other than the airport?
There are a variety of possibilities. You can pick the car up or drop it off at a location you choose, or at the airport — including one at each end, in either direction.
What currency are the prices in?
All our prices are given in US Dollars (USD).
What do I need to rent a car?
Everyone who intends to drive must bring a valid driver's licence that is valid to drive in Curaçao, and a valid means of payment — generally a credit card. All of it has to be with you on the day you collect the car.
How can I pay?
We accept credit cards including Visa, Maestro and American Express. If you choose "Pay later" we also accept cash on delivery.
What is the shortest rental you take? Is there a longest?
The minimum is four days. There is no maximum — that is entirely up to you.
Can someone else drive, or make the booking for me?
Yes. The person who made the reservation does not have to be the person who drives, as long as whoever drives has a valid driver's licence. Additional drivers are $5.00 per person per day, each must be 21 or over, and each has to show their licence when the car is handed over.
How far in advance can I book?
You can prepay a reservation up to a year ahead.
Can I rent a car without a reservation, once I am already on the island?
Yes — always get in touch. If we have a car free we will help you out.
What if my flight is late and I miss the pick-up time?
Let us know you are running late by emailing info@dushirentalscuracao.com. If we do not hear from you the reservation is cancelled an hour after the scheduled pick-up time, and the car may no longer be available.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Yes to both. Email info@dushirentalscuracao.com with the change. Cancellation is free if the reservation has not been paid for; if it has, the fee depends on how close to the pick-up time you cancel — the figures are above.
